Today's blog is about taking things one step at a time to reach goals that you have set out for yourself. Too many of us put pressure on ourselves to make behaviour changes that are too big of a jump from our current ways. For example, if we want to be come more active, we have expectations for ourselves that include working out for an hour every day of the week. In reality, we would become more active in only 5 minutes of activity even one more day of the week than we were before.
If we have it in our mindsets what the goal is, we can break it down into manageable steps, exactly what it is that will get us closer to that goal. We have to set the goal high, but when it comes to the steps towards that goal, if they are too large, they simply will not be met.
Good luck and remember always, just take one step at a time, and you might be pleasantly surprised with the results!
