do not try...

Have you listened to Kaizen with Jen's last episode about trying? (Episode 36)
Have you implemented any of that into your life yet?
Do you take stock on a daily basis and look at yourself and say....
Am I doing what I said I would?
Personal integrity means holding yourself to what you say you will do.
Why make promises and declare ideas out loud (or to yourself) that you don't follow through on?
There are too many people in our world that do that....why don't you separate yourself from the crowd?
Actually doing what you say you will do is not easy - or else everyone would do it.
Setting a goal and holding yourself accountable is constant work, but what you may not realize until you actually do it is this: it is always worth it.
Have you ever regretted going for a workout, or eating a healthy meal? Do you regret when you compliment someone or do someone a favour?
In all likelihood, your answer is no. Doing what you say you will do - and holding yourself to it daily - will always produce those feel good chemicals in your brain.
With continuous practice of doing over and over - it eventually will become habitual to do what you set out to do. And then....
The fun part comes - because you get to up the ante.
Yes, your goal at the beginning of the month may have been to go to the gym once a week...
However after a few weeks or sometimes months, that may seem easy.
Well, that is the kaizen principle at work.
When you are deciding that you will now start to attend the gym two times a week, you begin to improve just that little bit more....constant improvement is happening. Positive change.
You are setting yourself a new standard.
The thing is - that you are the only who can truly hold yourself accountable.
And... you are the only one who gets cheated if you fail to do what you say.
So in the end.....won't you just feel so much better if you set a goal and then follow through?
I know I do.
Get out there and don't just try my advice.
Follow my advice. Just do it.
Trust me, following through with your goals is something you will never regret.
Get out there and DO!
Jen
